How Our Roofing Referral Service Works
ClaimReady Roofing is a referral service. We are not a roofing company, and we do not send crews. Here is what actually happens:
- You call the number on this page. The call goes directly to an independent local roofing provider.
- You talk with the provider. You describe the damage, where you are, and what you need. ClaimReady Roofing is not on the call.
- The provider explains next steps. That may include scheduling an inspection, discussing pricing, or talking through a possible insurance claim.
There is no middleman screening, no forms to fill out first, and no waiting for a callback from us. Want more background on how the service is set up? Read our About page.
Roofing Problems Worth a Call
Some roof issues can wait a season. Others get worse fast. Consider calling a local roofing provider if you notice:
- Missing, cracked, or curling shingles after wind
- Dents or bruising on shingles, gutters, or vents after hail
- Water stains on ceilings or walls, or a drip in the attic
- Granules piling up in gutters or at downspouts
- Lifted flashing around chimneys, skylights, or pipe boots
- Sagging spots on the roof deck
A small leak left alone can soak insulation and decking. Getting a provider to look sooner usually means fewer surprises later. Exact timing for an inspection depends on the provider and how busy things are in your area.
Storm Damage and Roofing Insurance Claims
Storm claims make most homeowners nervous, and that is reasonable. A few plain facts help:
- Your insurer decides coverage. Not ClaimReady Roofing, and not the roofing provider.
- Documentation matters. Many independent providers may photograph damage, measure the roof, and note affected materials so your adjuster has clear information.
- Some providers may meet with the adjuster. Ask the provider directly whether they do this.
- Read your policy. Deductibles, age of roof, and cosmetic damage exclusions vary from policy to policy.
Before you sign anything, ask the provider how they handle claims, what their written estimate includes, and what happens if the insurer approves only part of the work.
Questions to Ask Any Roofing Provider
Each provider is independent, so it pays to ask direct questions on the phone:
- What roofing materials do you work with: asphalt shingle, metal, tile, or flat roof systems?
- Do you charge for an inspection or estimate?
- Will I get a written, itemized estimate?
- What warranty do you offer on labor, and what does the manufacturer cover on materials?
- What licensing and insurance do you carry in this state?
- How long do you expect the job to take once it starts?
Clear answers to these questions tell you a lot about who you are dealing with.
